| Beauties-Mulberry Transferware Plate-Ridgway-this lovely transferware plate is a rather hand-to-find pattern called "Beauties" by John Ridgway & Company. This firm produced wares from 1814 to 1830 in earthenware, stoneware, & porcelain. this is an earthenware plate in a mulberry color and measures 9-1/4" in diameter.the plate has a scalloped rim. No chips or cracks. There is some kiln dirt in a few spots on back. Stilt marks on back and nice pearl glaze. |
