The following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you don't find the answer you are looking for, feel free to email us at: victoriangourmet@comcast.net.
1. What is the shelf life of your products?
We recommend one to two years for the dips, spreads, seasonings, & herb sugars. As the products "age" they lose flavor. We recommend one year for the bread mixes.
2. Do the product names have any significance?
Some of the products are named after family members or friends. Violet is my husband's grandmother - her photo also appears on the Wedding Soup card. Barbara Jean is my cousin as well as "Naughty Nancy". However Sadie, was just my neighbor's cat - it just sounded good with "Sassy Salsa".
3. Are your products available "Wholesale to the Trade"?
Yes, we do wholesale our products to gift shops, museum stores, gourmet shops, & catalog companies.
4. Do your products contain preservatives or dyes?
Most of our products are all natural & contain no preservatives or colorant. Certain products do contain preseratives to maintain freshness or food coloring to enhance presentation. These products have an * in front of the title.
5. Do I use the entire package at one time?
The only products that make only one recipe is the Beer Bread, Soup Mix or Scone Mix. Do not use the entire package of the dips, spreads, seasonings, or sugars. Each package has detailed & very easy instructions, so your package will go a long way.
6. Are the products difficult to make?
All of our recipes are designed to be easy to make. Some of the cheese spreads are made just using the mix & a package of cream cheese. Recipes are easy to follow and designed to be time-savers.
